One of the first publications in a new series called Die graue Reihe (Grey Series). Only authors who are 80 or older are eligible, and only if they write about transience or death without sentimentality and with wit.

Set in Janson, printed and sewn by hand into simple printed paper wrappers. Format 25.8 x 17.2 cm; an edition of 100 copies, 26 of which are signed by the author and numbered (A-Z).
