BABEL’s sixth bilingual volume of poetry by R.S. Thomas, In Delicate Nooses / In zierlichen Schlingen appeared on 29 March 2013, which would have been the poet’s 100th birthday, and is, like each of the others, a selection of some of R.S. Thomas’ best poems (in this case from 16 different collections spanning half a century). This selection contains no poems that have appeared in any of BABEL’s previous collections.

In Delicate Nooses / In zierlichen Schlingen was printed by offset lithography on 120gsm off-white wood-free paper. Format: 24 x 17.5 cm; 84pp.; 750 copies. The book is sewn, with a 240gsm wrap-around wood-free paper cover (Munken Pure Design Card).

60 numbered specials (including the printed list of subscribers) contain an original etching by Vroni Schwegler, numbered and signed by the artist.
